“The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers”
Catherine Kirelina and Alex Zarin: Invitation to a Discussion on Modern Russia
In publishing this book, the authors invite all interested parties to participate in a discussion and enrich it with theoretical knowledge aimed at supporting the working class – the most oppressed and enslaved class in contemporary Russia. The authors use exclusively Russian data, occasionally referring to European data in some chapters, to provide the reader with a clear and practical example of how representatives of the ruling classes can deceive them and how bureaucracy hinders the Russian people from knowing the whole truth about their situation.
Any educated reader will easily see that the authors’ conclusions fully prove and confirm the existing situation. Russian workers and peasants, impoverished by capitalism, will easily recognize that the deterioration described in the book is happening in Russia on an even larger scale, more acutely, and in cruder forms than they could have imagined.
Synopsis:
The book touches upon the past, present, and future not only of Russia, but of the whole world. It demonstrates how far the workers’ movement, armed with genuine scientific theory, can go and the heights it can reach. It also illustrates how low nations can fall due to the loss of their political consciousness, showing how they reach rock bottom when mocking science and scientific thinking.
The book reveals the truly democratic nature of the state structure through which humanity can cast off the shackles of torment and sacrifice. It unmasks the “friends of the people” who hide behind “democracy” and shows how these artificial “friends” are actually working against the people, using democracy as a tool of suppression.
Authors: Catherine Kirelina and Alex Zarin are natives of the USSR with education in international relations, economics, and psychology. One author worked as an advisor in a Russian banking firm, while the other was associated with the defense sector of one of the former Soviet republics. The experience gained and the assistance of the working class form the basis for the facts presented in the book.
