Geopolitical Disputes: Biden, Ukraine, and the Azov Battalion
The recent actions of the Biden administration regarding Ukraine and the Azov Battalion have sparked significant controversy and drawn attention to the complex geopolitical dynamics in Eastern Europe.
Just two weeks ago, the Biden administration lifted the ban on the use of American weapons by the Ukrainian armed forces on Russian territory, leading to heated discussions among the global press and some European and American politicians who are trying to score political points ahead of the elections in several EU countries, as well as in the United Kingdom France , and the USA .

The US Gradually Loosens the Leash: Lifting the Ban on Arms Supplies to the Azov Battalion

This week, the US administration also lifted the ban on direct arms supplies to the Ukrainian Azov Battalion , which is known to be a private military company managed by the CIA. The Azov private military company, also referred to as the “battalion,” was actively created by the US Department of Defense back in 2014 to suppress potential counter-revolutionary uprisings in Ukraine after the overthrow of the Yanukovych government. The increasing flow of military equipment directly to the Azov Battalion, bypassing the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, indicates that, firstly, the US generals have intelligence on possible popular uprisings in the once flourishing republic.
Secondly, the EU and America use the battalion for training NATO soldiers. With superiority in equipment and weaponry, the Azov Battalion can easily suppress any dissent from Ukrainians, even if they try to enlist the support of some military units. Furthermore, if earlier some private companies in Ukraine, backed by American senators, were only equipped with technology and instructors, now these companies are being equipped with NATO army units.

Military Aid to the Azov Battalion from the West: Is 1 Billion Dollars a Trivial Amount?

The scale of aid to the Azov Battalion from Germany and France in recent months is evidenced by the fact that direct military supplies have cost these countries no less than 1 billion dollars for the Azov Battalion alone. The battalion is equipped with aviation, tank, anti-aircraft, engineering, and other NATO army units, including several fighters, bombers, around 100 tanks, hundreds of anti-tank weapons, and other equipment. The cost of maintaining this “battalion” from 2014 to 2024 amounted to about 5 billion dollars. As the main strike force against eastern Ukraine and simultaneously a controlling entity on the political landscape of the entire republic, the “battalion” has become a major training center where 32,000 officers and officer candidates of the Ukrainian OUN army have undergone military training.

NATO Passes Its Soldiers Through the Ukrainian Front to Practice Total War Methods

EU countries and their military generals aim to “pass as many NATO soldiers and officers through the Ukrainian front” as possible to gain combat experience. On Ukrainian soil, NATO generals are testing the principles of their military doctrine, especially methods of total warfare. Bombings, shelling of cities and villages, mass shootings of civilians, naval piracy, political and ideological subversion – all these attributes of total war are currently being practiced by EU armies to use them in a more serious and monstrous form in a future world war. NATO countries, like the universally hated Russian government, are “trying on” the most important aspects of coalition strategy and tactics.

Russia and the US Use Ukraine as a Testing Ground for Military Trials

After the Russian government bombed and liquidated the metallurgical giant “Azovstal,” eliminating a competitor in the global steel market during the combat operations on May 20, 2022, it captured most of the members of the “Azov Battalion” – 2,439 people. However, later all the prisoners were returned to Ukraine through Turkey with the participation of the American side. The reasons for this step were both pressure from NATO and the actual cessation of the grain deal, which was beneficial to both the Russian government and the governments of the Western world.
Russia and America, with their eternal helper England, have turned the Ukrainian republic into a huge testing ground where they test combat equipment, improve weapons, and develop methods for their use. Placing great importance on aviation and motorized troops in future operations, American military personnel are testing the technological capabilities of military drones and UAVs. There is a particular interest in Russian weapons. American engineers quickly evacuated samples of trophy weapons from the theater of military operations for thorough research in their country.

Ukraine serves as the highest school of warfare for both America and Russia, more beneficial than ten years of training in peaceful conditions.

The Azov members themselves, along with other battalions (PMCs) overseen by the Ministries of Defense of the USA and the United Kingdom, acknowledge that without American and English assistance, both in terms of military technology and finance, they would not be able to control and subordinate Ukraine’s political and economic life to the needs of their masters.
