The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” has undergone a range of improved editions and includes new additions in some chapters.
The “Preface” outlines the main goal of the entire work. Many people had the opportunity to read the “Preface” of the book for free on our website from February 2024 to May 2024 and also download it.
The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” addresses the “Question of War” right from the beginning. To put it briefly, when the authors were writing this work, they described the inevitable onset of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. However, in 2021 and early 2022, many colleagues disagreed with them and denied the possibility of such a conflict on Russia’s doorstep. Many considered it inappropriate to include chapters about a possible war with Ukraine. Consequently, much of the work had to be changed, for instant, from “impending” to “existing” and “ongoing,” and so on. The world does not stand still; it is rapidly developing, and as we live in a world of advanced capitalism, all the horrors of capitalism are progressing at a tremendous pace. This is why “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers” urges readers to take off their rose-tinted glasses so that new outbreaks of pandemics and wars do not come as a shock and cause widespread panic.
The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” explores the topic of military conflicts, highlighting the growth of armaments and the influence of international monopolies as instigators of wars. The book analyses war as a tool to save capitalist interests from economic crises, examining the beneficiaries of conflicts and the methods of waging war. It addresses war propaganda, land grabs, and the plundering of other nations’ wealth. Special attention is given to the regime in Russia and its allies, as well as the harsh policy of reactionism and suppression of the revolutionary masses. The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” raises the issue of deceiving the masses with nationalist propaganda and the role of governments in military actions.
The book examines who really controls Russia and what interests the capitalists pursue. The authors answer the question, “Who are the capitalists?” They analyze the agenda carried out by the servants of capital in modern Russia. The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” exposes the secrets of power, revealing the distribution of power between the government and the Duma, and examines the government’s role in the shadow of big capital. The book also discusses the crisis in Russia and investigates who and why is pushing the country towards war. Authors Ekaterina Kirelina and Alex Zarin examine the impact of state loans, poverty, and unemployment on the interests of big capital, as well as the behavior of Russian officials, highlighting the contradictions between luxury and debauchery. The book also addresses the theme of false friends and “patriots” who seek war for their own interests, and identifies the living forces of society and possible paths for its development.
In the first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” a deep, powerful, and comprehensive analysis of the transcript of the Russian president’s speech from 21.02.2022 is presented, in which he addresses the nation about the start of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine. The analysis of this address covers the following aspects: the government’s implementation of the capitalists’ agenda, the distortion and rewriting of Russian history, the longing of Russian officials for feudal Russia, the restriction of the nation’s right to self-determination in Russia, and the social fear and intimidation of the people. Further discussed are the ideology of the Russian government, the Great October Revolution, new future wars with former Soviet republics, and other important aspects related to the political and economic crisis in Russia.
The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” discusses the concept of imperialism as a result of the development of capitalism, considering it in the context of the monopolization of the economy and politics. The authors analyze the differences between free competition and monopoly and trace the emergence of imperialism in the 21st century and its global consequences. The book also examines the policies of imperialist states, including the USA and China, and their influence on the world stage. Issues of military economy, corporate influence on politics, and the profits derived from wars are also discussed. The authors highlight the grim consequences of imperialism, including its connection with fascism and far-right elements.
The first book, “The Power of Self-Seekers and Grabbers,” will be of interest to anyone who wants to understand the dynamics of Russia’s economic and political life, as well as the issues of social inequality and the influence of big capital on societal processes.
